Lloyd GodsonChief WackadooWho says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? While Lloyd was once named the Australian Geographic Adventurer of the Year for living underwater, he's like a fish out of water when on a unicycle. Lloyd taught himself to ride in early 2020 and created the One-Wheeled Wackadoos shortly thereafter. As a Secondary School teacher and father of two, Lloyd is attempting to show his students and children that anything is possible when you set your mind to it. Unlike his underwater adventures, this will be Lloyd's first major land-based expedition, and he's thrilled to have his son, Oliver, joining him for the experience.

Oliver GodsonYoung AdventurerOliver is an adventurer in the making! He's 11 years old, attends The Nature School Primary in Port Macquarie, NSW and loves playing Hockey and solving challenging puzzles. While he's only been riding unicycles since mid 2020, he's already running rings around his old man! What he lacks in multi-day expedition experience he more than makes up for in determination and talent. Completing this expedition will build up his grit, persistence, self-confidence, and courage. Oliver is a Brand Ambassador for Sendy Gear.

Roy SimmonsChief Entertainment OfficerRoy is a walking medical miracle man (ask him to tell you his remarkable life story)! He's 58 years old, was born in the UK and has almost died a few times. He works as a youth mentor and is always up for an adventure (he literally says yes to everything)! He'll be driving Veronica, our trusty Toyota Hiace support vehicle. Don't give him a map though; he's bound to get lost!

Geoff PullenExpedition Support and SweepGeoff is Tasmanian by nature and as Earthy as they come. He's in his element when pottering about in the garden, playing in the surf and hiking or biking a remote forest trail. With Geoff on the team, it's all about the journey, not the destination. He's super excited to return to Tasmania to ride, camp, stargaze, story tell by the fire and share a great adventure with new and old friends.

VeronicaExpedition Support VanVeronica was gifted to Roy, our Chief Entertainment Officer, by a very generous person in the Port Macquarie community. She's a trusty old Toyota Hiace, equipped with a dual battery system, solar panels, a massive fridge, an inverter and a big comfortable bed for Roy because he's too soft to sleep outside! She's covered in tats which represent all of the awesome partners that are helping make our adventure a reality. Maybe you'd like to sponsor us and get your logo displayed on Veronica for the world to see?!
